The Married Twin

My cousin, Leonard, got married on May 26th.

My cousin, Leonard, has a twin, his name is Daniel. For as long as I have known them I have never been able to distinguish who was who. When we were young, visits to their house would start like this...

Leo or Daniel or both... "Hey cousin!"

Me: "Uhhhh....hi...." (looking around for help)

Leo or Daniel or both: "You STILL can't tell us apart?!!! We don't look anything alike!!!"

Me: "Uhhhh...." (now, getting nervous and thinking...what the heck are you guys talking about?! You guys are IDENTICAL twins!!!)

Leo or Daniel: "Sigh...I'm wearing the black eyeglass frames, and he's wearing the silver ones." (or something like that)

So that was how it would go every time I visited them. But then the years passed and stupid contact lenses were invented! After that...I had no out...it was hopeless. I would just wait for someone to say one of their names and then make sure to remember that Leo was wearing the black shirt and Daniel the white shirt or something like that. Haha...so sad...to this day, they still make fun of me...and to this day, its hard for me to tell who's who. Give me a break...I see them MAYBE once a year...

But on May 26th, Leo made it easy for me...not only was he the one getting married, but he had also shaved his head (courtesy of the police academy). I was saved! Now I'm just hoping that Daniel doesn't shave his head too, and that Leo's head remains shaved... because if I see them together again, I know I will be in trouble if I don't know who's who...

Mom doesn't like crowded restaurants...so we had dinner at Che Wong...

So my adolescent-hood best friend got married. Quite a unique wedding...

I'm a lucky lady...the hubby made me a fabulous dinner to celebrate a belated Valentine's Day.

The appetizers: toasted cibatta bread topped with melted mozzerella cheese, tomato, and pancetta

Brandon dancing in the kitchen because his appetizers are so good

The surf: red snapper filets with jumbo shrimp in a light wine sauce

The turf: filet mignon with mushrooms and onions. This was the BEST steak...soooo goood!

Perfect!

And I was one happy wifey!

Now that it's been a week, I shall exploit your proposal in hopes of getting comments and eprops galore as well. muhahahah.... Congratulations again you two...and yes, the madness...this is only the beginning...dun dun dun!

I was listening to the radio this morning and Ryan Seacrest played audio of this bride that flips out over her hair an hour before she is about to walk down the aisle...SHES CRAZY Future husbands beware...hahaha...its too late for mine! MUHAHAHA....

The best part of it is watching the bridesmaids laugh...priceless.

Wii Fun

So while Brandon was in Germany, I waited in the freezing cold with all the other crazies to buy him a Nintendo Wii for Christmas. I got there at 5:30a.m. and was number 29 at a Target that had 33 Wiis (#1 in line was a soccer mom that had been waiting there since 10:30p.m. the evening before - she is crazy #1). So all 33 crazies got to go home with their Wiis.

Not only was it worth it to see Brandon's face light up like a little kid on Christmas, but to hear all the... "Man B, your wife loves you," and the "Dang B, now you gotta do something real good for your wife." For sure, the Wii will come up when I want something really big...

On the Wii, you are able to create your own little "Mii" characters. So here are the Mii Wongs...

Aaron and Teddy came over for dinner and for dessert, we had a Monkey Ball Banana Blitz split

Hi All,

Hope everyone had a very happy new year.

Brandon and I (and our Dupree) drove up to San Francisco for our chinese wedding banquet and spent our first Christmas as husband and wife up there with the Wongs. I got a HUGE new family for Christmas...very nice. No pictures yet of the actual wedding banquet, but we did hire a photographer to snap some shots of us around the city before our banquet.
